Why participate?
JaktFunn helps customers who are already searching for a particular product type, brand, model or specification. When customers find a relevant offer, they continue directly to the retailer’s own product page.
JaktFunn lists retailers alphabetically, not by price. We help hunters find relevant products and visit participating retailers. We do not promise equal traffic or guaranteed placement. JaktFunn does not sell products and is not a party to the transaction. The retailer continues to handle pricing, payment, permits, delivery, returns and customer service.
Product feeds and integration
We can use existing product data in Google Merchant or Prisjakt format, XML, CSV, JSON or through an API. We can also begin with a limited selection of products in a pilot.
A feed should preferably include product name, brand, category, product number/SKU, EAN/GTIN or manufacturer number, price, availability, product URL, image URL and variant information.
Hunting-specific product data
To prevent incorrect product matches, details such as calibre, chambering, barrel length, muzzle thread, right-/left-handed configuration, scope tube and objective diameter, and mount, rail and ring type are particularly useful.
Compatibility guidance before checkout
JaktFunn connects product data to practical choices such as suppressor thread, rail, scope tube diameter and rings. The aim is to reduce incorrect purchases and returns and send customers to the retailer with a better basis for their decision.
Retailers may also discuss a tailored integration of compatibility data or guidance in their own online store.
Accurate prices
JaktFunn will display only prices that we have reasonable grounds to believe are correct consumer prices including VAT.
We want to protect customers and retailers from incorrect or misleading price information. If we cannot verify that a price includes VAT, we will not display the uncertain price. Instead, we will direct the customer to the retailer’s online store.
The retailer’s own online store is always the final source for the current price, availability and purchase terms.
JaktFunn also uses checks designed to detect unusual price changes and other possible pricing errors before they are shown to users.
If a retailer discovers an incorrect price, incorrect product information or any other inaccurate information on JaktFunn, it can be reported to us so that we can verify and correct it as quickly as possible.
How we start a pilot
- The retailer shares a feed URL, a sample file or the contact details of the person responsible for product data.
- JaktFunn tests importing and matching a limited product selection.
- The retailer reviews how its name, products, prices and links are presented.
- After approval, we agree on update frequency and further product coverage.
