How JaktFunn handles personal data

If the service is transferred to a registered business before launch, this notice will be updated with the business name, organisation number and relevant contact details.

• When you visit: JaktFunn records the page view, page path, approximate country and region, device type and referring website. Raw IP addresses and precise location are not stored. IP address and browser type are processed briefly to create a pseudonymous visitor ID that changes monthly.
• When you open a retailer link: JaktFunn records the originating page and retailer domain, but not your activity on the retailer’s website.
• On your device: language preference, saved rifle setups and local price tracking may be stored in your browser. These are not sent to JaktFunn.
• When you contact us: your contact details and message content.

The information is used to understand how many people use JaktFunn, which pages are useful, which retailers receive traffic, and for troubleshooting and security.

Privacy-friendly visitor measurement is based on JaktFunn’s legitimate interest in improving and operating the service with minimal data. Other processing is based, as applicable, on an enquiry you send or a legal obligation.

Detailed visit and click events are deleted automatically after 90 days. The pseudonymous visitor ID changes monthly. Contact messages are kept as long as necessary to handle the matter and meet legal obligations.

Language preferences, setups and price tracking remain in your browser and are removed when you delete site data or browser storage.

JaktFunn uses technical providers for hosting and security. The public service has no customer account or customer sign-in.

JaktFunn does not sell your personal data. If you open an external retailer link, that retailer’s privacy policy applies.

JaktFunn does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Visitor measurement is first-party, uses no tracking cookie and does not share an analytics profile with advertising networks.

The hosting service may use strictly necessary technical mechanisms for security. Language, saved setups and price tracking may be stored locally on your device.

Where the conditions of data-protection law apply, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, or object to processing. You may withdraw consent without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
